How to Play
Learn to play Pentago in four steps. Pentago is a unique game that tests strategy and intelligence, where the rotation mechanic changes the balance of the board with every move.
Place Your Marble
When it's your turn, place a marble of your color into any empty hole on the board. You can choose any empty spot in any quadrant.
Rotate a Quadrant
After placing your marble, choose one of the 4 quadrants and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. This is a mandatory step and can change the position of all marbles on the board.
Line Up Five
The first player to line up 5 marbles in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — wins. Win checks are performed after both placement and rotation.
Match Series
Online matches use a series system. Series of 1, 3, 5, or 7 games can be played. The player who wins the majority of the series wins. The starting player alternates each game.
